The hotel was filled with authentic colonial charm, from the antique furniture to the memorabilia in each room dedicated to famous people. The sumptuous linen on the bed was a standout feature, and the ample breakfast selection was a pleasant surprise. The location was also great, close to key attractions and amenities.
There were some downsides to our stay. The air conditioning in our room was not effective and the bathroom lacked a fixed shower, which was a bit of a hassle.

The hotel staff were incredibly pleasant, and the Filipino night manager deserves special praise for handling the power interruptions with ease. The hotel's style and ambience were far superior to the generic chain hotels. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the availability of parking was a bonus. The hotel's location near the excellent restaurant Topaz was a convenient feature, as I was able to enjoy delicious meals without venturing too far.
Nothing all excellent.

During my Xmas trip to this boutique hotel, we enjoyed the beautiful authentic ambiance and decorations. the staff was polite and helpful, and they served some delicious local cuisine. the location was also ideal, in a peaceful area but still close to the city center. the pool area was well maintained and provided a lovely spot to relax and cool off from the hot Cambodian weather.
Our experience at this hotel was overshadowed by the poor condition of our room. the room was dusty and musty smelling, even though we had requested a non-smoking room.
